There is simply nothing that I would change to this adventure. The service of the porters was amazing, the food just made me want to live in that mountain and the guide with years of experience made it possible for me to get to the top and beat Africa's highest mountain! Perfect day in Ngorogoro! After 3 failed and almost scam attempts at going on a backpackers budget safari we met James and Chelsea. 

It’s a minefield out there in Arusha trying to organize affordable and honest safaris. These guys saved the day and even have a really comfy hostel to stay in before and after the trip. It was like going with a friend or cousin to safari. Everything felt so homely and safe!

A rising star of the safari game and definitely the best choice for backpackers and budget travellers.

Pre-safari comms and organisation from Chelsey were top notch; giving you all the info you need in a timely fashion. The safari itself was amazing - Hans and Eric were both informative, attentive and a great laugh to boot. Their vehicle is comfy enough and the fridge for cold beers, a welcome addition. Maisha Adventures provided us with a once in a lifetime experience. Everything was planned out to a tee which allowed to truly sit back and enjoy the entire experience. The jeep was clean and had electricity to recharge our phones and cameras. Camping added a wonderful aspect to the trip, especially because we had the best chef in town whipping up gourmet meals! All in all, best trip I've been on!

Thank you for making my first Africa experience more than I could have ever dreamed of! I appreciate you planning our itinerary and sending a packing list so I was prepared for every adventure. I have to say the safari was something I will never forget. Hans was SO knowledgable about all the animals and Paul was SO accommodating to my dietary restrictions (gluten free). I enjoyed learning Swahili from them and literally I still dream about the soups Paul made. Hans made it possible to see the "BIG 5" and more! My childhood Lion King dreams definitely came true! I also enjoyed our time in Arusha where you took us to the maasaii market to buy the best handmade souvenirs. I felt like family at the hostel and you had everything we needed to feel at home.
